LIS - Leap into Spring Projects
LIS is the name given to the outreach and missions projects our church is currently involved in. Monies raised from
LIS are used for
Local and International Support. Over the years we have supported projects in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia and for the past few years have been actively involved in building schools and orphanages in South East Asia and establishing churches in Africa.
Closer to home, monies raised have been instrumental in enabling our charity PortCare to relocate to larger premises, which in turn has provided more opportunities to assist people within the community.
Targets we have set for 2012 are:
- Complete the second half of a new school in South East Asia
- Continue to support and resource C3 Liberia, West Africa
- Future church planting projects
- Provide financial aid to drought stricken East Africa
- PortCare
